about me
Bernardo “Bernie” Manzolillo is a Brazilian filmmaker based in NYC, and a recent graduate from SUNY Purchase College with a degree in Communications, with a TV Production concentration and Film minor. Experienced in television and documentary production, Manzolillo's work is praised for its innovation and craftiness.
His most recent project, a pilot/proof of concept for "The Celline Clarks Show", mixes narrative, improvisation and mockumentary styles to parody and examine the typical reality show format. The film was wildly celebrated within the Humanities School at Purchase College, and was a selection of the 2025 Humanities Symposium. The wittiness and quirky comedy of Manzolillo's work were highlights of the film. He is now working on producing a full season of a web-series for "The Celline Clarks Show".
Aside from his film work, Manzolillo has worked in a variety of different environments, from TV Studios to magazine writing rooms. He explores the world through different mediums, always seeking to grow as a communicator and storyteller. He is well rounded in writing, editing and design, guided by curiosity to constantly learn new skills and expand his artistic reach.
